Externship (n): Two-to-five-day unpaid shadowing experiences for sophomores, juniors, and seniors over the January break, during which students become immersed in the host’s daily activities in order to gain a better understanding of their career field. Hosts include alumni, parents, and friends of Lafayette in diverse career areas, geographic locations, as well as in graduate and professional school.
